Dr. John Brett – Veterinarian, Tucson Arizona
Dr. Brett has been a small animal veterinarian for over 25 years. He attended the University of Arizona as an undergraduate and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. Through the years he has expanded his learning and veterinary care to the holistic realm. Dr. Brett is unique in his ability to approach medical issues with both Western conventional veterinary medicine and alternative treatments such as acupuncture, VOM/chiropractic and herbal therapies. This is a powerful combination that he enjoys sharing with his patients and clients.
Dr. John Brett has been the primary veterinarian at Rosemont Pet Clinic since 2007. In 2009, Dr. Brett and his wife Donna acquired the animal hospital with a commitment to continue the exceptional veterinary medicine that Rosemont Pet Clinic has always provided their clients and patients.
Married for over 25 years, Dr. Brett has two children and a house full of pets. Music is a true passion and hobby. He has played drums in bands since college and even toured Europe with a band from Tucson. You can call him, John Brett the Rock and Roll Vet!
Donna – Hospital Administrator
Donna has been in Tucson for over 30 years, attending High School, Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. She earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Donna worked as an engineer and manager for over 15 years before she and John decided to become partners in Rosemont Pet Clinic. This was a great move for them and Donna enjoys working with John, the Rosemont staff and being a small business owner.
When not at the office, Donna loves spending time with her family; two children, relatives, friends and pets. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, hiking, cooking, crafts, reading and playing rock band.
Brooke – Office Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician
Brooke, a native of Tucson, she has been a veterinary technician at Rosemont Pet Clinic since 2003. She shares her home with two dogs, two cats and her dedication to the pet community has lead her to become a foster parent for several rescue organizations.
While not tending to animals, Brooke can be found enjoying softball, poker, cliff jumping, tubing down the river, riding quads, or hanging out with lots of friends.
Lisa – Certified Veterinary Technician
Born in California and raised in Tucson, Lisa graduated with honors from the Pima Medical Institute in 1998 as a veterinary assistant and in 2002 become a certified veterinary technician. She has been caring for animals at Rosemont Pet Clinic since 2005. Along with her husband and two sons, her family includes five cats, three dogs, two king snakes, a tortoise, and an iguana.
Lisa keeps fit on her off-time by hiking with her husband and dogs and weight lifting.
Mike - Certified Veterinary Assistant
Mike was born in California and grew up in Rio Rico where he graduated from Rio Rico High. He joined Rosemont Pet Clinic in 2013 after earning his veterinary assistant certification and general studies associates degree from Pima Community College. Mike is an anmial lover and his family has two dogs and fish. He is very active and enjoys almost every sport there out there along with outdoor activities like camping, hiking and fishing. While not in school working on his veterinary technician certification or at work caring for animals, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Helping people and making them smile is something he strives for everyday.
