I grew up in Tucson and am now retired after 30+ years at The University of Arizona as a business manager. I have volunteered most of my adult life in various capacities including at the NW Wildlife Rehab Center, Tucson Meet Yourself and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. I enjoy hiking, nature, music, calligraphy, art and spending time with friends and my husband who is a bluegrass musician.

Hello, my name is Luisa. I recently started working here at the clinic and I absolutely love it! From day one, I could tell that the staff are passionate for the well-being of your four-legged family members. I have had various pets throughout my life but dogs have been my favorite since childhood. For the last several years I have worked with animals, which is what brought my interest in this clinic. Currently, I am a dog mom to Choop! She is a toy poodle with a huge personality who loves to travel with me! When I’m not at work, I enjoy baking, sewing, roller skating or just spending time with my friends and family.
